Properties Round nut with trapezoidal thread SG 14 Brass

The round nut with trapezoidal thread with a thread dimension of 14mm is characterized by its special thread (SG). The special threads of Ketterer Antriebe are based on the standard according to DIN (here DIN 389) and meet requirements outside the standard. Our SG 14 trapezoidal thread nuts have a multi-start right-hand thread and withstand even high loads. 

The spindle nut is made of a special brass (CuZn40Al2). This impresses with its high corrosion resistance. Our round nut is manufactured from the blank by means of the metal-cutting production process. As a result, high dimensional accuracy and high surface quality are among the properties of the brass spindle nut.

Application Round nuts with trapezoidal thread SG 14

The spindle nut can be ideally combined with the trapezoidal thread spindles in our range. The interaction of both units offers an optimal drive solution for use in diverse areas. Even noise-sensitive applications can be covered by matching the nut to the spindle. Here, running noises are minimized and the drive is characterized by smooth running. 

In addition to the brass variants, POM and PA6-GF30 are part of our range of nuts. Also the shaping can be selected according to your wishes.
