Technical Notes

  • The screw jack must be protected against lateral forces using a separate guiding system.  
  • Spindle systems with a pitch > 3 mm may not be self-locking – self-locking must be verified in the application.
  • The lifting unit is designed only for compression loads.
  • When using multiple lifting units simultaneously, the maximum drive torque at the gear head of 3 Nm must be observed.
  • Incorrect dimensioning of the guiding system may lead to damage to the lifting unit: Please familiarise yourself with the design and safety instructions for spindle drives.
