Properties
Our trapezoidal thread nut made of polyamide (PA6-GF30) is available in the size SG 14x30 P5 in the product range of Ketterer Antriebe. The round nut is characterized by its special thread (SG). This special thread is based on the DIN 380 standard and meets expectations outside the standard. The trapezoidal thread nut has a multi-start thread. This is right-handed. During production, the nut undergoes a machining process in which excess material is removed in the form of chips. Within this process it is possible to ensure a high dimensional accuracy and a high surface quality.
The material we use, polyamide PA6-GF30, is a polyamide reinforced with 30% glass fiber. This is characterized by higher strength, stiffness, creep resistance and dimensional stability.

Application
Our trapezoidal thread nuts made of polyamide can be optimally combined with our trapezoidal thread spindles. By matching both products to each other, running noise can be minimized. The result is smooth running. The resulting drive solution can be used wherever rotating movements are to be converted into linear ones, even under high loads.
In addition to our 14mm polyamide nuts, we offer 12mm nuts made of the same material. In addition, other sizes in POM and brass are available for you.
